Make a donation.
If you believe in the importance of introducing school children to poetry and want to support our educational work, we invite you to make a donation to Poet in the City. Your donation will support our educational objectives, helping to introduce children to poetry, contributing to improving their self-expression, and raising their self-esteem. A donation of £350 will pay for a poet to spend a whole day in an inner city primary school (including administration and travel expenses) and will provide a potentially inspiring experience to scores of young children. Any contribution, large or small, will be most welcome and will be acknowledged. Visit the Acknowledgements page on this website.
Major donations are also welcomed, with the potential to earmark funds for specific activities. Poet in the City is a registered charity, meaning thatSponsor Poet in the City.
If you work for a business or institution, whether a company, bank, law firm or other organisation, perhaps it would be interested in becoming a sponsor of Poet in the City?
