Members of Young Identity

Part of the Manchester based group of young poets and performers, Young Identity, Inna Voice presents an ensemble of the best young poets and perfomers rising to stardom in Manchester today.

Young Identity (YI) was formed in Moss Side, Manchester in 2006. It is a twenty six strong group of young poets, led by the senior poets, Shirley May and Ali Gadema (the coordinators). Young Identity has at its core a Poetry Slam team. This team represented Manchester in the ‘Apples & Snakes‘ World Cup Slam Championship 2006.

Inna Voice are a select team of the brightest stars in Young Identity, who have performed all over the UK and abroad, and will be joining the All Stars on 30th September at Contact, Manchester!
