Lydia Towsey

One of Midlands finest poets, Lydia Towsey, will be joining us on stage at Lakeside in Nottingham.

Lydia also produces and directs arts based projects, mostly within mental health and live literature. She’s compere and co-ordinater of WORD! the longest running poetry and spoken word night in the East Midlands. This is based at The Y Theatre, Leicester and takes place from 8pm, on the first Tuesday of each month. Lydia is also Artistic Director of ‘The Lyric Lounge’ (www.lyriclounge.com) – a touring festival of poetry, now entering it’s third year, and the chair of BrightSparks, the arts in mental health group.
