You Tell Us

We want to hear from you

Part of our mission is to bring new people to spoken word and poetry shows, and to delight existing poetry fans with a new take on performing poetry.

This is why we want to hear what people think!
What did you think of the show? Who was your favourite act?

This fantastic in-depth personal review was much appreciated, by one lady blogger at our performance at the Bluecoat in Liverpool:
Mixed Gems by Rosaleen Gallagher

Here are some of the comments we received from our 2009 Spoken Word All Stars event at Kings Place, London:

‘I’ve never been to a poetry event before, the entire show was excellent!’ Janet Henry

‘El Crisis was amazing’ R Campbell

‘I liked most the passion and enthusiasm of the performers’ Emma Gibson

‘I liked all of it, I only wish it had been a longer evening’ S Hepburn

‘I liked the diversity of the acts’ Anonymous

‘It was an overall great event’ James O’Connell

‘Nothing could have been improved, it was excellent value for money’ Tisha Morgan

‘It’s hard to choose what I liked most – probably the passion’ Jane Hillier

‘I liked Kate Tempest best, but everyone was awesome’ Matt Paterson

And behold! A great review from the Londonist here.

Absouletly Brill. THE best poetry night I have been to in a long, long time. Highly, highly recommend this group.

Just saw your show in Bradford last night – tried to post this on Facebook but couldn’t find you. Anyhow thanks for a great night – it was good to be reminded of some home truths here in my mono-cultural Bradford life (people are not mixed up as much as in say Wolverhampton). I especially loved the ‘no hitting’ song done with ‘no woman no cry’ – it’s good to hear that message load and clear – it’s been hidden for too long. All four of you were great, lyrics and music, thanks again.
