    Northern Lights was a series of free New Audiences events bringing together an eclectic range of contemporary poets including award-winning published poets and some of the UK's most exciting new voices.

  • Light Nights featured award-winning poets David Harsent, Michael Symmons-Roberts and poet and clergyman David Scott debating the questions "Where do we find an element of the spiritual or mystical in poetry?" and "Are we becoming entirely grounded in the realms of realism - understanding our lives by encounters day to day, by our physical surroundings and our circling of the sun?"
