27th Apr 2010Feast on Words
Poet in the City and New Audiences presented an exciting evening of food poetry in collaboration with UCL Food Junctions at the Kings Cross Reveal Festival. -
In the beautiful setting of Camley Street Natural Park, poets Isobel Dixon, Agnes Lehoczky, Simon Barraclough, and Tim Wells read work inspired by the world of food. UCL professor of English Literature, Mark Ford, introduced the event, opening up our minds to the wonders of poetic depictions of food.
To enhance the culinary atmosphere even further, the event set was adorned with an amazing food-inspired art piece by performance set designer, Charlotte Chatfield, whose past work includes the recent Evolving Words set at the Wellcome Collection.
