    Many brilliant poets have written powerfully about depression and their struggles for mental health.

  • John Clare, Sylvia Plath, John Berryman, Elizabeth Jennings, Robert Lowell – many brilliant poets have written powerfully about depression and their struggles for mental health. Held in partnership with leading mental health organisations this event hosted by author Clare Allan featured David Constantine; Sarah Wardle; Suzanne Batty; and Simon Barraclough who looked back to some of these writers, and read their own work, reflecting on the fragility, resilience and complexity of the creative mind.
