Poet in the City Producers Future Leaders Forum

Poet in the City Producers invite you to join their Future Leaders Forum on Tuesday 24th September 6.30pm at Fora - Princelet Street.

We are bringing together young people, creative industry leaders, funding bodies, venues, producers and partners to discuss why the creative industries should be looking to young producers to shape the future of the sector.

What is a ‘producer’? Join us for a panel discussion and wider debate surrounding the multi-faceted role and social responsibility of producers in the arts, find out why youth leadership and talent development programmes are necessary for the sustainability of the sector, and connect with the young people already at the forefront of change.

PINC Invitation

Featuring award-winning producer and founder of Black Ticket Project Tobi Kyeremateng, novelist and editor of the bestselling essay collection, The Good Immigrant Nikesh Shukla, Sour Lemons Programme Producer and Creative Leadership Programme alumna Divya Satwani, as well as insights from Poet in the City Senior Creative Producer Ruby Baker and Poet in the City Producers alumni. Hear directly from the young people already disrupting the cultural landscape and contribute to the conversation about how we can work together to bring about change.

Please join us for a programme showcase, creative industry leadership panel & networking drinks. RSVP to reserve your spaces here.

Now in the third year of the programme, Poet in the City Producers has become a pool of talented, creative young arts producers working to curate events, facilitate discussions and drive campaigns to ensure young people have a stake in the future of poetry.

We look forward to seeing you there.
