Poet in the City celebrated the creative life and work of one of the most exciting and important voices in modern poetry.

With a legacy that spans the 50 years since her tragic death aged only 30, and a body of work whose fierce originality stands up today as continuing inspiration for writers and readers alike, Sylvia Plath remains a force to be reckoned with.

Combining live poetry read by Juliet Stevenson, discussion and fascinating insights into her lasting impact, this event was a unique celebration of Sylvia Plath, in her own words.

This event also features Andrew Wilson author of Mad Girls Love Song (Simon Scheuster 2013) and US poet and spoken word artist Liza Garza.
