Matthew is the author of Utopia Ltd. (Haymarket, 2009), The Spectre of Utopia (Peter Lang, 2012) and Nightwalking (Verso, 2015). As well as being an academic and author, Matthew has also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Thinking Allowed, ‘The Falneur – Walking in the City’ and regularly contributes to the Guardian.
